(NOAH REBOLLO)

Effingham resident Noah Rebollo Friday was sentenced to prison for money laundering.

The 25-year-old Rebollo was senteced to seven years in prison. Judge Marc Kelly said that Rebollo will be served up to two years of mandatory supervised release once he is out of prison.

Rebollo was arrested in July of 2022. He pleaded guilty in March of this year.

Impact incarceration is a possibility for Rebollo. The program is designed to foster proper conduct in exchange for shorter sentences, which is a cost saving to the State.
