St. Elmo Board Deals w/Levy

St. Elmo school board members this week abated the proposed levy since enough interest was earned on the bonds to make the annual payment, then approved the tentative levy with final action coming at the Board's December meeting.

The Board approved a health/life safety amendment for St. Elmo High School and agreed to seek bids to replace the window lintels at the high school. 

Board members approved an 18-month contract with Constellation Energy for the district's electric supply. They also approved the resignation of Doug Engeljohn as a school bus driver and hired Amanda Miller as an early childhood teacher.
