Elmalee VanScyoc (89) of Farina

Elmalee VanScyoc, 89, of Farina, Illinois passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Born August 25, 1930 in Farina, she was the daughter of Adrian J. and Mabel B. (Simmons) Guerrettaz, Sr. Elmalee was a homemaker, a member of the Farina American Legion Auxiliary and attended Friedens United Church of Christ. She united in marriage with Leroy VanScyoc, August 28, 1948 in Morganfield, KY and he preceded her in death January 30, 1995.
Surviving is her son Keith (Deana) VanScyoc of Farina, along with 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her loving daughter Jacqueline Ingram, October 1, 2012.
The family request friends gather with them at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 28 in Farina Cemetery for graveside services, officiated by Jimmie Page. There will be no public visitation. Memorials may be made to the Farina Fire Department or the Farina Ambulance Service and will be accepted by the Sutherland - Rankin Funeral Home, 310 N. Broadway, P.O. Box 97, Salem, Illinois, 62881 (618-548-1234) entrusted with the family's care.
