Sheron J. Habing, 72, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Aperion Friendship Manor in St. Elmo, IL.

Sheron was born on July 29, 1948, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of John W. “Bill” and Murtie P. (Shadwell) Nosbisch. She married Clete Habing on December 29, 2011, and he preceded her in death on August 1, 2020. Sheron was a local small business owner. She lived by her own rules, was fun-loving, and enjoyed fast cars. Quick with a joke or a good story, Sheron put a smile on the faces of family and friends. She loved spending time with her family and visiting the beach. Like Frank Sinatra, she did it her way and enjoyed a life of love and happiness. Sheron is survived by her children, Levi Weishaar and Marci (Phil) Gallagher; step-sons, Chuck (Donna) Habing, Ted Habing, and Doug (Hyunah) Habing; grandchildren, Triston, Nyxie, Lily, and Xander; sisters, Janice (George Jr.) Guthrie and Julie (Joe) Hille; brothers, Steve Nosbisch and Jody Nosbisch; and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Johnny Nosbisch; sister, Linda Thomas; and husband, Clete Habing.
