Jeri J. (Brown) Hutton (68) of rural Stewardson

On July 26, 2021, at 2:04 p.m., Jerri Joan Hutton of Stewardson, IL, left her earthly family to be with her heavenly one.

Jerri was born on March 19,1953, in Effingham, the daughter of Harold and Lela (Lourash) Brown. She married Glen Richard Hutton on July 7, 1973 and were blessed with 48 years of marriage.

Jerri was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a caretaker to all. Over the years, she was involved in the Stewardson Fire Department, the Historical Society and the Stewardson Strasburg American Legion Auxiliary. She worked for Candie’s Kitchen, Wetheral Grocery and 13 years at Knapp Oil. She will be greatly missed by those that truly knew her.

Surviving are her husband, Dick Hutton of Stewardson; daughter, Pamela Hutton Campbell and husband Kyle of Stewardson; brothers: Robert Brown and wife Clara of Watson, Ed Brown and wife Angie of Stewardson and sister, Lois Nippe of Du Quoin.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 in Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson. Burial took place in Stewardson Cemetery. Brummerstedt Funeral Home in Stewardson is assisting the family.
