Viola Sue Fulk (81) of Edgewood

Viola Sue Fulk, age 81, of Edgewood, Illinois passed away the evening of Monday, July 29, 2024 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood with an hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will be at Edgewood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood. Memorials may go to Edgewood Christian Church or the donor’s choice. Viola was born on January 8, 1943 in Effingham County, Illinois, the daughter of Ralph W. and Wilma E. (Heidbreder) Webster. She married Glen “Jerry” Gerald Fulk on August 6, 1961 in Edgewood. She was a member of the Edgewood Christian Church. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, and she took pride in being a daycare provider. She also took great pride in her role of Sunday school teacher at Edgewood Christian Church.

She is survived by her son, Roger Fulk (companion Janine Lotz) of Brownstown; daughter, Susan Hartke (husband Randy) of Effingham; sisters, Doris Kuhlman (husband Jack) of Effingham and Margaret Washburn (husband Gary) of Effingham; four grandchildren, Joshua Fulk (wife Tanishia), Amy Cole (husband Jason), Christin Hartke, and Trent Hartke; one great-grandchild, Lucy Fulk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Wilma Webster; husband, Glen Fulk; brothers, Charles Webster and Howard Webster Sr.
