Effingham claimed a junior varsity baseball win over Altamont Wednesday, 7-3.

Altamont took a 2-0 first inning lead but Effingham tied in the fourth and moved ahead 7-2 in the fifth.

Niebrugge had a triple and drove in two runs for the Hearts while Wolfe had a double and two RBI.

Altamont was led by Hammer with a double and an RBI and Guerrettaz, Teasley and Schmidt with two singles each. Schmidt added an RBI.
