Coach Justin Fleener's crew split a baseball doubleader against Olney Thursday.
Olney claimed the opener 5-3 behind a 10-hit attack. The Tigers broke through a 2-2 opening inning tie with a run in the third. T-town tied in the fifth but Olney won it in the top of the seventh with two runs.
The Wooden Shoes were led by Clint Weber with a single and double, Drew Thoele with two singles and an RBI and Lee Hardiek with a triple.
In the second contest, T-town trailed Olney 2-0 after two innings then broke loose with a four-run third and a four-run fourth. The Shoes went on for a 10-3 victory.
T-town had eight hits led by Evan Atlhoff with a single, double and three RBI, John Tomlinson with a single, double and an RBI and Luke Ungrund with a double and an RBI. Ethyn Dust picked up the pitching win, going four innings, allowing three hits, two runs, two walks and striking out four. He improved his record to 4-0.
T-town now stands at 21-6 on the season while Olney is 14-10.

Brownstown/St. Elmo leaped out to a 4-1 first inning lead on Sandoval and went on to end the game in the fifth inning, 21-0.
Francisco Vieramontes threw a three-hitter with one walk and five strikeouts for SEB.
Bryton Pruett led the team offensively with a single, two doubles and four RBI while Nate Philpot added two singles, a double and four RBI. Caleb Atwood had two doubles and four RBI while Wade Ireland had a single, two doubles and an RBI.
SEB improves to 7-10 on the season.

Newton captured an 11-1 victory over Neoga in action Thursday.
The Indians took a 1-0 first inning lead but Newton tied in the fourth then had a 10-run fifth to end the contest.
Cohorst picked up the pitching win on a four-hitter with no walks and six strikeouts. The Eagles had 15 hits in the contest.
Neoga was led by Adam Fearday, Chase Banning and Lanham with two singles each. The Indians drop to 15-7 on the season.
