The NHL season gets underway today and the Toronto Maple Leafs will beat the San Jose Sharks to win the 2019 Stanley Cup. The good news for all the other teams is that’s according to a simulation done by EA Sports, which is notoriously inaccurate

 

Maple Leafs Lose Backup Goalies

The Toronto Maple Leafs lost two backup goalies Tuesday after placing Curtis McElhinney and Calvin Pickard on waivers. McElhinney was claimed by the Carolina Hurricanes, while the Philadelphia Flyers picked up Pickard.
